Alan Rabe

I attended California Polytechnic State University, and Luis Obispo, for my undergraduate degree. Dentistry is my second career; I was employed as an engineer by a large international engineering firm in San Francisco. I received my dental training from the University of California, San Francisco, and was in private practice for 40 years. My wife and I have three daughters who all live in San Diego. The oldest is a Dental Hygienist; the middle daughter has her license as a L.M.F.T. and works as a middle school onsite therapist; the youngest was a C.P.A. but is now the assistant chief for San Diego Lifeguard Services. All three are third generation University of California graduates. We have four grandchildren. I have completed thirty half marathons and several triathlons since I started running for exercise in 2013.
